Summit Speaker: Beltrán
Beltrán is a queer and body-positive journalist, activist, communicator, speaker, and activist.
His main goal is to spread awareness to a larger audience in hopes of making the world a more equal space for all. He does so by focusing on issues that concern the communities in which he belongs.
He will be speaking on the Pride and Joy Summit's Influencer day, his talk is entitled “Media is (not) a Mirror". Beltrán will be speaking about the lack of representation of body and sexual diversity in social media and image-based industries and its negative impact on mental health. His presentation will be given in Spanish with an English caption.
Summit Speaker: Court and Lex
With over 20 million views to date, Court and Lex continue to stand up for members of the LGBTQ+ community as well as people of color. They use their platform to make people laugh and to be their authentic selves unapologetically.
Court and Lex now have over 100K followers on Instagram and over 400K followers on TikTok with an amazingly loyal fan base. They have a very unique look with even more unique personalities that shine through to their fans.
Not only are they influencers, but they are the parents of three beautiful children. In addition to that, Court and Lex model for clothing brands, act, direct, and even dabble in the music industry. Court and Lex are the up-and-coming poster family of the LGBTQ+ community.
Court and Lex will be speaking on Influencer Day at the Social Media Best Practices Panel Discussion and on Family Day, under the Queer Adulting track; their talk is entitled The Journey.
Summit Speaker: Hannah Lee Kidder
Hannah Lee Kidder is a contemporary and fantasy author. She grew up in rural Louisiana, which inspired a dabble in escapism via make-believe worlds where gay kids have a good time.
Hannah is also a content creator, writing coach, and consultant. Her real-life escapism brought her somewhere in the Colorado mountains where she lives with her roommate, Saya, who is a dog.
She will be speaking on Influencer Day, for the Getting Published Panel Discussion of the Pride and Joy Summit.
