This event is for you if...
Your kid has come out as trans or non-binary in the last year and this month brings the first extended family events. You want to engage, you love your family…mostly. You're worried about how a few of your extended family members will interact with your child since you’ve seen the stuff they post online these days.
Join us to learn some facts about trans youth and learn how to communicate the importance of supporting them for their mental and physical health.

Your kid is using different pronouns than your family is used to and you’re concerned about the amount of educating you’ll need to do for your extended family.
Come to our meeting where we’ll discuss different ways to invite your family to use the correct pronouns, and keep them motivated to do so even if they mess up a few times.

Your gender non-conforming kiddo is experiencing a ton of anxiety around the upcoming family events, and frankly, you are too. You are new to this role as a parent of an LGBTQ+ child and you feel vastly unequipped to handle educating your whole family. But you don’t want to avoid them, family is important to you.
Join other parents who are experiencing the exact same anxiety, as well as some that have been through it a few holiday seasons now. Learn how everyone is handling it and offer your support where you can. We’re not alone in this.
