1

Suicide Prevention Skills for LGBTQ+ Students.

This first part of this offering is one of Pride and Joy Foundations’s signature offers. Our Ask. Listen. Plan workshops are a 90-minute, hands-on training opportunity for participants to develop Suicide Risk Awareness and Prevention skills. Throughout the workshop, participants are offered opportunities to practice and test their knowledge and skills in real world scenarios. By learning the simple steps offered in this class, we are empowering participants to literally save a life one workshop at a time.

Participants have reported an 80% increase in their confidence intervening for themselves or for a peer dealing with suicidal thoughts.
